Breast tumor localization
Advanced solutions for biopsy site marking and wire localization
Our tissue markers and localization wires enable precise and patient-friendly marking of breast lesions in the tissue. This is ensured by sharp puncture cannulas and ergonomic handle design. All markers and wires are made from the biocompatible implant material Nitinol.
Biopsy tissue markers from the Tumark family enable precise and patient-friendly marking of biopsy sites and suspicious lesions in the tissue. This is ensured by 18 gauge thin, sharp puncture cannulas and the ergonomic handle design for single-handed operation.
Due to their geometry, the biopsy site markers become firmly anchored in the tissue and are visible under ultrasound, X-ray and MRI. All markers are made from the bio-compatible implant material Nitinol and remain visible in the tissue.

SOMATEX localization wires allow intraoperative tumor localization for the surgeon by marking breast lesions. If it is necessary to correct the position when marking, the localization wires can easily be pulled back into the cannula and released again.
Sharp puncture cannulas ensure patient-friendly treatment. All tumor localization wires are made of the biocompatible implant material Nitinol and are available with different cannula lengths.
