HYPERTHERMY CATHETER 

SOMATEX® are suitable for taking, guiding and protection of Temperature Sensors during hyperthermia therapy. Depending on treatment region the catheter is applicable through natural orificials and/ or in percutaneous technique to target area.

It excels through the following advantages:

  • for temperature sensors up to 1,11 mm
  • distally closed
  • marked in cm

For percutaneous application is a system consisting of a percutaneous Hyperthermia Catheter without hub and an optional connectable hub available. This feature makes it possible to applicate the catheter in coaxial technique in combination with a puncture sheath.
