Bonus scheme allows SOMATEX^® employees to have a share in the company’s profits

Teltow 06.04.2005. In the first quarter 2005, SOMATEX^® Medical Technologies increased its turnover by 11 percent compared to the according quarter in 2004. The company, specializing in medical technology, thereby continues its positive trend of the year 2004. The noticeable increase in turnover over last year’s level was not only achieved on the home market, but also in the export sector.

“The positive development is also due to the commitment displayed by all our employees“, emphasizes Frank Kniep, Managing Director of SOMATEX. “This is why they all should benefit from the company’s success.“ The approximately 50 national and international SOMATEX^® staff members receive a monthly bonus in proportion to the profits earned by the company.

The bonus scheme which not only includes a performance-linked bonus, but also special payments for presence and commitment, had been tested for a period of 12 months and will now be implemented permanently. According to Frank Kniep, the continuous improvement of the company’s results in this period can also be attributed to the bonuses paid to the employees. “The motivation of our staff is one of the com-pany’s most important potentials.“
