The SOMATEX® POWER LASER APPLICATION SETS serves for the treatment of malignant and benign tumours, in particular liver tumours when carrying out the so-called "laser induced interstitial thermotherapy (LITT). To carry out a LITT, the Power Laser Application Set is placed either percutaneously, intraoperatively or laparoscopically in the tumour.
