POWER LASER APPLICATION SET 

The SOMATEX®  POWER LASER APPLICATION SET serves for the treatment of malignant and benign tumours, in particular liver tumours when carrying out the so-called "laser induced interstitial thermotherapy (LITT). To carry out a LITT, the Cooled Power Laser-Application Set is placed percutaneously in the tumour and furthermore serves to receive, protect or cool a light conductor (laser fibre).

The set excels through the following advantages:

  • high-performance cooled system
  • possible laser performance up to 40 watts in 20 minutes
